Amid the spread of digital content on the internet, the Cultural Affairs Agency will introduce a new system in April that compels users to pay copyright fees even in cases in which the creator or the copyright holder is not known.
Ahead of its implementation, the agency released a new platform on Thursday where creators can register their works.
Express permission from the holder of specific content must be granted in order for the user to reproduce the work elsewhere — whether it be illustrations, writing or music.
